A couple weeks ago I went to Blogher- it was a fun experience, but really overwhelming. One of the nice things was getting introduced to other bloggers and also many products and services.
One of the "vendors" I met was Rebecca from Alice.com- she was handing out little duckies with a $10 gift card attached for Alice.com. So my first question was "Well, what is Alice.com"? She explained that Alice.com wants us to never run out of toilet paper (and other household goods).
So when I got home I looked it up. It really is pretty cool. It's kind of like Drugstore.com but there is no shipping charges and they do this other cool thing that I have never seen on any other sites like this- they do the coupons for you. They tell you when there is a coupon for a product and automatically deduct the coupon amount. It's quite nice.
You can also put together list of the items you regularly order and Alice.com with remind you to order them.
Right now Alice.com is offering a $10 after you spend your first $50 with them and then you can refer friends and get a commission based off of their purchases. It's a win/win.
I like the idea a lot. The prices were decent- especially for the free shipping and the time you save by not having to shop for the things you need everyday.
I will admit- if you are a drugstore deal diva- meaning you using the CVS extra buck system or a similar program- Alice.com probably won't be for you. But if you are mom (or dad) just looking to save time and a little money, Alice might be your girl.
How Much are Freebies Worth?
| FFD has listed $1103.49 (aprox.) worth of freebies in 2010 so far. And that's not counting coupons and BOGO Deals!! |
